The Lovely Lydia's Blog for March 2020

Lydia, is there a certain type of woman you're attracted to?

Although there's obviously much more to attraction than the physical aspect, I'll set the intangibles aside, as what I find attractive about one woman's personality may be different from what I'm attracted to in another. The whole package has to be taken into consideration, you know? I suppose the only sweeping generalised statement I could make is that her sex drive has to be able to keep up with mine!

The funny thing about lesbian relationships is that lots of people assume they have to conform to traditional gender dynamics. For example, there's the assumption that femmes have to be attracted to butches, and vice versa, because someone has to be the "man" and someone has to be the "woman."

The thing is, the usual gender dynamics are out the window anyway when you have two people of the same sex in a relationship. So with two lesbians, you don't have to have a "man" role and a "woman" role. The roles are flexible, and things usually get divvied up by whatever one partner is more interested in doing or more competent at handling. I'm good with numbers and finances, for example, so I usually end up paying the bills. One girlfriend from my past found washing the dishes relaxing, so that was her job. I tend to tidy the house as I move about during the day. We might alternate taking out the rubbish. The list goes on. (Though I've almost always deferred to my partners on cooking, as I'm so dreadfully horrid when it comes to the arts of the kitchen.)

That's a long way of saying that because I'm a lipstick lesbian, lots of people assume I must be attracted to butch lesbians. Actually, I'm not. I'm a girly girl who likes other girly girls. The pictures I post here? That's more or less my fantasy ideal, so far as physical appearance goes -- though some of the women in the pro shots are far too skinny for my liking! I don't care to see ribs, and I'm not particularly attracted to flat chests. I love puffy lips, long hair, small turned-up noses, abundant curves, big juicy nipples, and nicely arched feet with suckable toes. Fleshy is nice, especially in the thighs and the bottom. A slightly rounded tummy is okay. A pubic area shaved clean and smooth is the kind I much prefer to eat from.

I was in one relationship with a very butch girl back in my college days, so I can't say I'd turn an interested woman out just because she might happen to look somewhat mannish. Likewise, my ex-wife said she was a tomboy growing up, and she looked the part, with short hair, minimal makeup, a flattish figure, and a rather boyish wardrobe. I can find a boyish or androgynous look sexy on the right person -- think Tilda Swinton -- so in the end, almost everything is fair game under the right circumstances.

But as for what I prefer, at least so far as physical appearance goes, that's other femmes. My current girlfriend fits the bill quite nicely -- beautiful smooth mocha skin, with sparkling deep brown eyes, a beautiful smile, corkscrew hair that cascades down around her neck and frames her face, pleasingly round tits, lean but shapely legs from all her dancing, a firm but round butt, and amazing arches and toes that she allows me to play with whenever I'm in the mood. Lucky me!

(And, not to give too many secrets away, she's shaved smooth and tastes like heaven.)
