Yes, I'm quite fond of the Christina Aguilera song, and I've dreamed of hearing it recast as a lesbian anthem. Still, it's wonderful for what it is. I love the music and fashion alike from the forties and fifties, so both the song and the retro aesthetic of the video warm my heart -- as does seeing Christina singing and swaying onstage in blonde, brunette, and ginger triplicate, Andrews Sisters-style. Nothing like a woman in uniform -- unless you're helping her take her uniform off.
